Newfoundland and Labrador Stuttering Association (NLSA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting, educating, and empowering people who stutter, along with their families and communities across our province. Founded in Newfoundland and Labrador, the NLSA provides a welcoming space for connection, awareness, and advocacy to help ensure that every voice — no matter how it sounds — is heard and valued.

Our Mission

Our mission is to create a supportive environment that fosters confidence and understanding for individuals who stutter. Through community events, educational programs, and partnerships across Newfoundland and Labrador, we work to break down stigma, promote inclusion, and amplify the voices of people who stutter.
