Walk, Run, and Roll — Moving Forward Together

Established in 2018, the Newfoundland and Labrador Annual 1K/5K Walk, Run & Roll for Stuttering Awareness is a powerful community event where people who stutter, their families, friends, allies, educators, health care professionals, and the NL government come together to help change lives. Funds raised through this event directly support the NLSA Bursary Program, which helps offset treatment and equipment costs so that individuals of all ages can communicate easier and with greater confidence.

Celebrating Voices, Building Connections

The Walk, Run & Roll for Stuttering Awareness is more than just a fundraiser — it’s a celebration of community, courage, and communication. Every step taken and every dollar raised helps support people who stutter and those with communication challenges, including autism, intellectual disabilities, language and learning disorders, speech sound disorders, and hearing impairments. Together, we walk, run, and roll so others can communicate easier and build a more inclusive Newfoundland and Labrador.
